Our hand crafted shepherd’s hut is set beside native trees between the Slieve Mish mountains and Annascaul Lake.

This cosy, self-contained hut is fully insulated with a shower and WC and a radiator for cooler evenings. It has a comfortable double(4ft6) and single bed providing accommodation for 2 adults and 1 child. The hut has a kitchenette with cooking facilities as well as a communal outdoor barbeque area.

The hut is set by a wild garden that has native sally trees, gorse and wild flowers. The Baile an Bhothair river at the end of the garden is charming and if you are really lucky you might catch a glimpse of the rather shy otter. There are many species of birds and our wild grasses and flowers attract lots of bees and butterflies.
